Converting offsets from one reference system to another reference system on the same axis can be done directly if both reference system use horizontal or both reference systems use sloped offset measurements. Listing 1 shows the formula. If the reference systems use different offset measurement modes the offset has to be converted to axis offset first then to axis offset in the other measurement mode and then to the destination axis reference system.
